Kim's Puppies

Lizzie was the dog Kim had when I first met her.  Lizzie was part Cocker Spaniel, and part Spitz.  There are some dogs she was watching recently that were Samoyed which look almost exactly like Lizzie.

Lizzie was just spastic, and would bark incessantly at Kim whenever she arrived home.  I called her Crazy Liz.  And she was pretty much crazy.  She was king of the house before Dusty arrived.

At the Via Madonna house, back in the 1990's Rocky was the center of the pet show, before Lizzie.

Rocky was very much used to being the center of attention before Lizzie came along as a fuzzy little white puppy.  Here is a picture.

Lizzie was small enough to follow Rocky wherever he went on the floor, and would pester Rocky continuously.  So, Rocky learned to go where Lizzie couldn't.

And this was the hierarchy for a couple years before Dusty came along.  Dusty was a Hurricane Force Puppy.  She was into everything.  She would go under the bed to get Rocky, and just loved to pick fights with Lizzie.

It was also around this time that Betty got Barney, and they would spend a lot of time at our house.  The Wolf Pack was growing.  Eventually there would be one more, Lucky.

This is all while we were at the Via Madonna house.  It was a three bedroom town home, and it was starting to get cramped.  Here is a pic of Lizzie and Lucky from 2001.

Lucky was all black.  He was very hard to photograph because he was so black.  So Lizzie is there for stark contrast.  This was in 2001 at the Via Madonna house.

In order to get a good photo of Lucky I had to have a neutral, non lit background.  This may be the best picture of Lucky.  At night you couldn't see him, except his eyes.  Lucky was also strangely weird in his appearance in that his fur was very black, but his skin was white.

Lucky was a big wolf like scardy dog.  When the Thundermonsters happened he would hide behind Kim's pillow.  This was so funny when it first happened.  Lucky was a Mama's Boy, and typically would stick to her.  But in the case of inclement weather he wanted to be under her, LOL!

Under normal circumstances the whole Wolf Pack would be in bed.  The only way for me to get in was to bribe them with food.  This is a typical weeknight scene with Kim, and the doggos watching TV.
